I’ve been passionate about technology ever since I was a little kid first playing pong and then programming on my Atari computer … yep! Atari’s did more than just play games. For most of the last 30 years I have served as an IT leader helping large and small businesses take advantage of technology to better serve their customers and employees. One of my most rewarding experiences was owning a small business that delivered custom software and websites to grossly under-served small businesses during the dotcom craze. Next to my time in service as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, I think my proudest achievement was serving as the technology leader for TCGRx, a Wisconsin based company that I helped grow from a start-up to become a global leader in the pharmacy workflow and automation space. I opened CMIT Solutions of SE Wisconsin because I truly LOVE to take care of the IT stuff so business professionals and leaders can do what they do best – take care of the business. As a small business owner and stakeholder in a business that was growing by leaps and bounds, I felt the pains of not of not having the budget to hire the right people and not being taken care of by vendors who didn’t care about the “little guy.” Being part of the CMIT community gives me the opportunity to serve other small and medium sized businesses - owner to owner. At the same time, I have the added support of hundreds of other locally owned and operated CMIT locations with thousands of CMIT and vendor support techs worldwide to back me up.
