As the previous Health and Safety Enforcement Officer for South Essex Stockholders Ltd, the client requested my full time employment, due to two high profile prosecutions with regards to serious accidents. Brought on board to change the health and safety culture up to standard and also design and implement a health and safety management system, including design of a new comprehensive health and safety policy, including gaining contractual agreement of responsibilities for management. eventually being promoted to become the General Manager I was responsible for a full management restructure of the company and a full overhaul of the HR system that was in place, to enable better documentation of training records and occupational health screening. I also had control of production. delivery, receipt and storage of Steel across 5 sites.I was responsible for over 800 employees including dangerous steel stockholding warehouses, a fleet of vehicles and drivers and an office element.

Working as permanent contractor on behalf of CBRE for McGraw Hill as Head of Health and Safety EMEA. Working within the Facilities Team, I had the role of design and implementation of health and safety procedures was responsible for the health and safety of over 4000 employees. The contract is spread across multiple sites internationally and comprises of prestigious offices within the Canary Wharf complex as well as large warehouse operations across Europe, Middle East and Africa. In my time at McGraw Hill I implemented committee meetings, started a full programme of inspection, designed training staff for all levels of management, drawn up a full induction process. I also had to remotely manage safety advisors across the world to monitored via an electronic programme as well as be the point of call for advice or any enforcement action brought up bay any region where we had sites. Working as a health and safety consultant for Connaught Compliance (Formally known as National Britannia). I worked within large organizations and was the lead consultant on Primark, Aramark and MoD contracts, as well as auditing multi let office buildings, shopping centres and entertainment venues for CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield. To assist clients to design, implement and monitor health and safety management systems.. This was within a variety of different fields from risk assessing army exercises to carrying out audits on office buildings or factories. Working within Environmental Health at Southend Borough Council. Responsibility for the inspection and enforcement of Health and Safety of over 1000 premises, with a vast variety of different uses. I was also responsible for health and safety training and often lead HSE projects. I advised many companies on health and safety management and also educated them on the requirement they need to achieve under the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974.
