I am a forestry engineer and currently coordinate the Regional Development Directorate of the State Planning Secretariat - SEPLAN, in the state of Acre, Brazil.As Deputy Secretary at SEMA (July to December 2018), Director of Forestry Development at SEF and SEDENS (March 2011 to December 2014), I coordinated the programs and projects of the Departments of Community Forest Management, Public Forests, Planted Forests and Extractivism and non-timber products.Formed in 1999, by the Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia - UFRA, in 2010 I obtained a MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. After 21 years working in the Brazilian Amazon, I'm a Specialist in Project Management, Forest Resources and Forest Engineering, with a focus in Public Policy and Sustainable Forestry Development, mainly in the following areas: forest management, community forestry policies and forest management projects.I worked as a research assistant and consultant on analyzes and surveys of Land Use and Public Policies in Brazilian Amazon, Sustainable Forest Management Plans, Annual Operating Plans and Processes of Forest Certification Assessment.I have extensive experience in working with various governmental, non-governmental and civil society representatives. In addition, I also have experience in field trips in all Brazilian Amazon biomes; collection, organization and analysis of data and preparation of technical reports.Speak, write and read English and only read Spanish.
