Ballymore Eustace, Co Kildare

My role at Barretstown involved the account management of key corporate supporters including Lidl, Ulster Bank, Microsoft, Google, State Street, Eversheds Sutherland, Brother & Bridgestone. I was the events manager of The Barretstown Corporate Sports Day (2015, 2016 & 2017), TheBarretstown Golf Outing at The K Club (2016 & 2017), Barretstown Talks with Roy Keane at the Olympia (2015) and the Barretstown Gala Ball 2017. I was responsible for the management and growth of the corporate direct marketing Christmas appeal 'Magic Makers'. Together with my colleague we were responsible for recruitment of new business & coordinating corporate volunteer days to Barretstown for groups of 10 - 150.

My role involved developing and delivering a college wide stewardship plan for donors at a range of giving levels from corporates, the academic community, foundations and alumni of Trinity College.Working with the Trinity Access Programme (TAP), the Science Gallery, National Institute for Intellectual Disabilities and Bridge 21 on devising donor relation and stewardship strategies. Project management of the 1592 Giving circle.

My role involved the identification, coordination, preparation, collation, submission and tracking of all grant applications that were submitted by Special Olympics Ireland and any of its sub-programmes. In addition my role required me to manage and strengthen relationships with existing grant providers but also develop and nurture strong working relationships with new trusts and corporate funding providers.I was also responsible for developing sponsorship opportunities between Special Olympics Ireland and suitable companies.I managed numerous national fundraising and awareness campaigns including the Support an Athlete programme, Challenge 126 and The Old irish Coin Campaign. As a member of the American Chamber of Commerce I frequently networked with other members, ensuring that Special Olympics Ireland was considered for funding, sponsorship and partnership opportunities.

Overall responsibility for the development, implementation and delivery of projects across the following five cornerstones of social regeneration: Housing, Employment, Community Development, Civic Infrastructure and Education.I represented the Authority on various committees, boards and fora. I also developed and managed community relationships with principals, teachers and students of twenty four schools, community leaders, youth workers and key politicians whilst managing a diverse number of programmes within the Social Regeneration remit of the Authority.I administered the community development grant scheme for three years on behalf of the authority. My work with the Docklands community had a very large focus on education and one of my projects involved me bringing a group of students and teachers to Zambia to work on an IT project.

Overall responsibility for the preparation and implementation of the annual marketing plan for Idray Ltd. My main duties included the writing, editing, design and print of our annual brochures for Europe, Dubai, Far East and Lapland. During my time with Idray Ltd. I was responsible for all market research, event management and communications on behalf of the company.
