Manage all roles and aspects associated with bringing 828 Labs' flagship product Wallwerx, to market:Identifying a void in the consumer product market and further addressing that need. Mechanical design of 3D printed prototypes.Identification of law firm to generate the required IP (patents/trademark) for brand/product protection.Identifying a toolmaker to create an injection mold tool for final parts.Pitching product to local and regional retailers.Formation of Limited Liability CorporationDevelopment and management of digital presence to include e-commerce website, social media sites, and television commercial.Creation of company/product artwork and marketing material.Marketing of product to social media influencers and retailers.Collecting customer feedback for future product improvements.

In addition to broad oversight of engineering lab activities and personnel management, my responsibilities include the following:A core focus on new product development of satellite antenna systems and electronic pointing solutions.Completion of mechanical and electrical engineering tests and generation/presentation of subsequent test reports.Organizational leader in AM (additive manufacturing), or 3D printing, it's implementation, and application to new product development by allowing for rapid iteration.Metal fabrication, machining, and welding as needed to facilitate the needs of new product development.Frequently interface directly with vendor and customers, typically for problem resolution.
