Extensive experience on various problems in multimedia processing and retrieval, including AI for vision. Has also worked on multimedia forensics and tampering detection. Curious about all aspects of synthetic and biological intelligence, learning, and behaviour, with a focus on digital multimedia issues of (mostly visual) perception and representation. Recently looking into game design. Teaching has been a calling of choice, always running in parallel to other projects.
