Mark Zarychanksi is an experienced substation automation specialist involved in every aspect of the system integration from the SCADA servers, the operator workstations, the RTUs, the P&C relays, and the plant automation controls into the utility enterprise serving in a variety of technical support and leadership roles throughout his 18+ year career in the SCADA industry. He has been involved in many aspects of the project life cycle including system design support, integration & configuration, factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning, and field support for clients worldwide. His strength lies in liaising with clients, systems engineers, and project managers to produce high quality project deliverables in a timely and efficient manner meeting or exceeding client expectations. After upgrading his education and completing an electrical engineering at the University of Alberta in 2014, he rejoined with former employers, IS Results and GE, assisting their electrical utility client, Arizona Public Service, with the successful integration, testing and commissioning of over 800 distribution system line reclosers, smart and smart grid devices with their client’s new SCADA EMS system.
