Berkeley’s Family Welfare Research Group, co-authoring Power Through Choices (a comprehensive sexuality education curriculum for foster youth), and managing the evaluation of State-funded teen pregnancy prevention programs. Marla has prior experience working with youth in the field of youth development and teen pregnancy prevention at UCSD Medical Center’s Division of Adolescent Medicine, as well as during internships with the Indian Health Service and Planned Parenthood.
