Working with our national team conversion team, in converting all current polices over to our new system. Work along side team Underwriters from various regions to process all aspects of the conversion.Train the Underwriting Assistant’s on Halcion, Contact and clean up lists. Continue supporting them after the training in various aspects. Collaborate with the Unit Manager on the UA's growth both personally and professionally. Collaborate with the triage team and specialists in identifying and solving defects, by either processing corrections to the policy in Halcion, determine work arounds, or working with Ops and Planning for additional details.Work with Ops and Planning in ordering and obtain required scans for defects and cleaning up of policies. Review and filters scans to make individual clean up lists for the UA's to process. Organize and work with the lead UA's who assign the lists to the remainder of the team. Track and report numbers and progress to Management.

Assess and evaluate complex risks.Quote, negotiate and authorize the acceptance of new business, renewals, cancellations and endorsements to develop and retain profitable business.Provide technical advice, recommendations, mentoring and coaching to team members.Develop and manage internal/external business partner relationships; participate in broker/ visits, insurance industry functions and marketing events; promote products and services.Working on special projects as they arise.

Assess and evaluate moderately complex risksProvide support to brokers regarding policy interpretation and underwriting policies and standards.Process transactions within authority limits involving personal automobile, property and/or casualty policies.Provide timely and effective communication to business partners, answers inquiries and make recommendations to brokers.

Grow and maintain a book of business.Quote, write and process new applications and endorsements.Monitor accounts receivables for my clients. Train and mentor new brokers.
