Our mission at Marla Walker Interiors is to create beautiful, functional interiors that reflect each client’s individual interests, aspirations and everyday life. We make spaces that are refined, engaging, and practical. Our residential work ranges from large-scale construction to renovations to discreet decorating projects. We offer 2-hour in person design consultations and virtual design sessions for quick fixes and simple room refreshes. A native Californian, Marla Walker spent her formative years in the South and both places inform and inspire her work. She is co-founder of the fashion chain Bird. In 2015 Walker started Abloom, a volunteer organization that donates flowers to people in need throughout the Hudson Valley.

Abloom is a project whose mission is to bring the beauty of flowers to the people in our community who need it most. We partner with local organizations and institutions that provide residential services, such as group homes, senior centers and prisons.Through the weekly delivery of fresh farm flowers, we aim to enliven spaces, spark feelings of compassion and dignity, and promote a greater connection to nature, for the residents and those who work with and care for them. Living with beauty inspires us and helps us to see and to be our best selves. We consider this a basic necessity of wellbeing, rather than a luxury. Together we can all flourish through a simple gesture– the beauty of a bouquet.
