I've been working in Sustainability, Design, Horticulture, Retail, and Education since graduating from Temple University in 2018 with a BA in Environmental Studies. I also lived in San Jose, Costa Rica from 2015-2016 where I pursued undergraduate credits and worked on a biodynamic farm. I am a quick and dedicated learner with a passion for sustainability education. I've worked in a variety of environments and have embodied many different roles which has given me extensive practice in teamwork, communication, and time-management.I am a skilled horticulturist with experience in tree care, land management, propagation, and pest management. In conjunction with hands-on experience, I am also highly creative. Through my experiences, I've honed skills in floral and garden design, merchandising design, and workshop design. Sharpening these skills has enhanced my eye for detail and my adaptability. I’ve had a number of creative accomplishments including creating botanical sculptures and gardens for the Wintergarden at Dilworth Park since 2019 and building exhibitions for the 2021 Philadelphia Flower Show. In my varied and expansive roles I have also gained administrative experience which has helped me hone my interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.In 2021 I received my 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate. Throughout, I practiced tenacity, improved my listening skills, and pursued the art of mindfulness.
