Research project on the importance of wetlands in terms of erosion, specifically in the Ithaca, NY region. Studied Ithaca's own mitigated and natural wetlands, and evaluated how wetlands serve to protect the community from silt pollution and erosion related problems. This research was then formulated into a lesson plan to educate local middle school children, and presented in early May of 2011.
