I hired and coached over 50 leaders within the National Youth Leadership Institute (NYLI), designed to create the future leaders of public health within the United States with partnerships throughout Asia, and collaborations worldwide.During this time, I discovered the strong link between Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and effective leadership. While EQ can be measured, I was struck by the lack of tools available to help individuals actively improve this top predictor of success, leading me to begin conducting research and experimentation in the field.In addition to training of all NYLI leaders in emotional intelligence, public speaking, group facilitation, instructional design, advocacy, networking, mental health, and DEI, I also maintained key international relationships, ensuring that this training extended to 2nd-line leaders globally.

Spearheaded groundbreaking research addressing healthcare disparities among underserved women, leading to the development of innovative access solutions. This pivotal investigation revealed how strategic research insights cascade through organizations, transforming abstract findings into tangible improvements in healthcare delivery. As Young Adult Chair on the Board of Directors, I leveraged strategic influence to secure crucial funding for women's initiatives, an achievement that unveiled fascinating patterns in high-stakes decision-making. Observing how board members formed and defended their positions sparked a profound investigation into the predictability of cognitive compatibility. This experience became the catalyst for my groundbreaking research into epistemic filters and their role in forecasting long-term decision-making behavior.

My mastery of coaching methodology was forged through 12 years of private music instruction in piano and violin, where I discovered the profound connection between personalized learning strategies and human achievement. I started my first business when I was 10 years old. Every week my younger sister and I baked 10 loaves of homemade honey whole wheat bread. We ground the flour, mixed the dough, let it rise, kneaded the dough into loaves, baked and packaged it, then sold it door-to-door to our neighbors for $5 a loaf.
