We are an inbound tour operator, are based in Maun (Botswana), selling tailor made tours and safaris throughout Africa. We currently specialise in Botswana (our main focus), Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Zambia but we aim to widen our scope to include African countries further afield in the near future (working with like-minded specialists in these destinations further afield). Our focus is on providing travel expertise that is exceptional and highly personal in nature. Our company is small and intimate, and we aim to keep it this way, hand picking consultants that live in the destinations we sell and have several years’ experience in the industry. The result is unique, tailor made tours, safaris and holiday travel experiences moulded to the individual needs of our guests. This philosophy follows through to our suppliers, so that where possible we suggest independent products and owner run businesses. The personal nature of our business means that we do not have a limiting factor to the types of trips we arrange, it depends entirely on what our guests desire, and thus our client base is large and varied, including: families, luxury travellers, disabled and senior travellers, honeymooners, adventure junkies, eco-conscious travellers, budget travellers etc. Our business is borne from our passion and dedication to the countries in which we live and the magical places on offer on the African continent. Basically, we want to share our love for our industry and our destinations with those who wish to experience Africa. All our consultants arrived at the places in which we now live resulting from a love and passion for the environment, natural places, wildlife, adventure, wide open spaces and the lifestyles living in these places affords ourselves and our families. We live it; We love it! It is our core, our essence, and something we wish all others to experience, that connection with the natural that touches every visitor.

I spent my time at Okavango Wilderness Safaris being mostly bush based. I worked permanently at Xigera Camp and Mombo Camp, temporarily at Abu & Seba Camps, and visited the majority of their Botswana properties. I covered various departments including: Administration & Accounts, Guest Relations, Curio Shop Management, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Hosting.
