Seasoned, energetic private equity investment professional and non-executive director with over 30 years experience in the finance sector, of which 10 years in M&A and the remainder in private equity. Founded Greenpark Capital, a global private equity secondaries business, in 2000. With over $2 billion of capital under management across four funds, we were capitalised by major institutions including banks, pension funds, insurance companies and family offices from Europe, the US, the Far East and the Middle East. Late 2013 we merged the business into the European business of Stepstone, a global alternative assets adviser. Following the above transaction with StepStone I am thoroughly enjoying my ongoing activities in private equity and other private markets through Mbuyu Capital and Altamir, with a strong interest in ESG and socially responsible / impact investing, whilst also being able to pursue my passion for conservation of wildlife and wild lands in Africa through my trusteeship of the African Wildlife Foundation.
