Reconstruction of Holocene vegetation (from 10000 BP until now; focus on the Greek-Roman era) by means of pollen analysis. Fieldwork (coring + collection & identification of present plant species), pollen extraction in the lab, identification of fossil pollen, data analysis of fossil pollen data (pollen diagrams and multivariate analysis) & reporting in scientific journals.
