My interest in (digital) marketing/ media communications started as a teenager. I have always been a great listener, loved to do research and to connect people. I participated in event planning after my school hours. That experience combined with my exposure involved to the family business in the cheese industry, specializing in production, import and export of cheese globally, led me to go to the Netherlands to study International Business and Languages (IBL) in 2004. I majored in international marketing and obtained my Bachelor of Commerce in 2008, which enhanced my understanding of the marketing and communications industry. In 2012, I earned my Master’s Degree in Marketing (digital media specialist) in New York. During & after my studies, I worked for (award-winning) media agencies in NYC, London & Antwerp.My passion in digital marketing, writing and discovering natural/organic products, sparked my interest to create Theorganiclabel.com. It is a platform (blog and social media channels), where organic/non-toxic brands can reach an audience that is avidly looking for general information about a healthy lifestyle, the latest trends and product reviews!I only know one competition in my life - myself.
