As an Instructional Coach at Asheville City Schools, I support and mentor teachers in implementing effective instructional practices and enhancing student learning outcomes. I collaborate with school leaders, curriculum specialists, and district staff to provide feedback, resources, and professional development for teachers. I also facilitate data-driven instruction and assessment, and model best practices for classroom management and differentiation.I have a passion for education and a commitment to continuous improvement. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I also obtained my Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching, with minors in psychology and Spanish. I have over 10 years of teaching experience in grades 3-5, and have served as a grade level chair and a curriculum implementation committee member. I am certified to teach K-6 and ESOL-certified K-12. I have developed and delivered engaging and culturally responsive lessons, and have increased student achievement and retention rates through innovative strategies and technology integration.
