I am a recent psychology graduate from Dominguez Hill, where I have gained several skills, including critical thinking, abstract reasoning, organization management, writing and presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. I am flexible, accommodating, and can work in any environment. I take a keen interest in group work and helping the needy in the community. This has been boosted by experience while working with NOVO for the past two years. NOVO is an event where concerts and private events are held. I was involved in proactively greeting and welcoming guests, checking their tickets, resolving their complaints, directing guests to their sitting positions, and other duties. Through this work, I gained vast experience in leadership and communication skills, which led me to be recognized as a standout employee. Besides, I have experience taking care of the elderly since I took care of my elderly grandmother for months while everyone was working. I learned and added several skills while taking care of her. My responsibilities included helping my grandmother access nutritious food, clean water, prescription medicine, and basic supplies. I also provided her with a social company and helped her with physical exercises. I improved my observation, patient, time management, organization, and communication skills. At twenty-two years, I can speak two languages, English and Spanish, and can write and communicate through them fluently. Therefore, I can connect easily with most people and improves my interpersonal skills. These skills add to me the opportunity to create more networks and sell since I can easily connect with most people. The degree in psychology with the vast experience I have received from different workplaces and encounters qualifies me as the best candidate for any job opportunity available.
