New Japan is a moderate sized business in a growing town called Pittsboro. During my work-days I was the only cashier and aside from taking customer's orders and receiving either cash or debit/credit cards, I also made sure the tables were cleaned, I stocked forks, spoons, chopsticks, etc, I cleaned the windows, swept when the restaurant needed to be swept. I was occasionally left alone - making me the manager of the restaurant, since I was the only English speaking person there.
