M.Sc. in Sustainable architecture and Landscape Design at Politecnico de Milano. I am Passionate, ambitious and creative. Fast learner and always looking for new challenges. I focused on my desire to work and study abroad and experience new ways of living in a foreign land with other languages and cultures. I worked in United States of America, Japan, Australia and Italy.Enjoying life learning about urbanism, skiing as my biggest hobbies but also roller-skating, hiking and rock climbing, learning languages, and always looking forward meeting new people with a warm Mate in my hands. By 2050, most global cities will have become large metropolitan areas. This remarkable growth needs to be addressed in such a way that we can face the greatest challenges in the world today: inequity and urban resilience in the face of climate change. These objectives will not be achieved if there are no instances of intersectoral and interjurisdictional collaboration within the metropolitan areas.In order to help understand the phenomenon and develop specific instruments that allow us to act in the complexity of large cities, we believe that in the coming years we will see the emergence of a new metropolitan discipline, located between urban planning and regional territorial planning. For this reason, in March 2016 we founded the Metro Lab UBA, with the aim of generating knowledge to develop awareness about metropolitan issues and reduce the gap between the theory and the practice. We want to be part of the global movement of institutions that are thinking and shaping this new discipline.From the Metro Lab UBA we continue the experience started at the MIT Metro Lab (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), which was founded with the same objectives in February 2015. We constitute the Metro Lab UBA a multidisciplinary group of professionals from various countries interested in metropolitan problems. -
