With over three decades of dedicated experience in the fields of military training, education, and skills development, I have cultivated a deep expertise in instructional design, leadership development, and project management. My career began in 1986 as a student at the SA Army Women's College, leading to a permanent role with the SANDF as an instructor for recruits and later in leadership development.From 1995 to 2000, I furthered my career at the SANDF College for Educational Technology, where I trained trainers, training managers, instructional designers, coaches, and assessors across all Arms of Service. This period was pivotal in shaping my skills in curriculum development and training management.In 2001, I transitioned to the Security Industry to merge business acumen with training expertise, gaining valuable insights into the commercial aspects of skills development.Driven by a vision to elevate skills development solutions, I founded Aquarius Skills Solutions in 2002, aiding in the implementation of the NQF and SDA as an SDF. Building on this foundation, I established Khulisane Academy in 2003, growing it into a leading provider of accredited business solutions. At Khulisane, I have:Developed comprehensive accredited learning materials for both internal and external clients.Served over 65 clients as an SDF, ensuring their compliance and training needs were met.Personally trained over 3,000 assessors, equipping them with the necessary skills to excel.Project managed four major SETA projects, involving material design, developer training, and pilot program implementation.Finally I have started a coaching and consultation business, Authentilife, in 2023, after I have sold Khulisane Academy after 20 years of committed skills development implementation. My journey reflects a commitment to excellence in education and training, with a proven track record of developing effective skills development strategies and fostering growth in individuals and organizations alike.
