Responsible for supporting current Bronx Businesses as well as providing economic incentives to attract additional businesses to the Bronx. In the past five years we have been able to brings down the unemployment rate in The Bronx To 7.8 from 13% by providing below market rate loans and incentives to local and prospective businesses. The Bronx is now open for business under the auspices of some great leaders.

I am currently working in the recently created Senate Caucus working on Public Policy issues impacting the Puerto Rican and Latino Community state wide.Our number one issue this year is to make sure that EVERY LATINO in the state fills out a census form. WE COUNT! Every individual that does not will cost the state $3,000 a year for the next ten years. Mucho dinero y mucho power we are throwing down the drain if we do not comply.
