Marlene has 30 years of experience in transportation management and planning. Her experience includes a wide range of public transportation planning projects in modes like ADA paratransit and Integrated Mobility as well as studies that include operations, policy development, management and organization, IT, and, especially, financial analysis and review. Marlene is on the American Public Transportation Association’s Board of Directors and serves as Past Chair of its Mobility Management Committee and also Chairs the Access Committee’s Subcommittee on Emerging Technologies and the Legislative Committee’s Subcommittee on Intergovernmental Issues. She was also selected to be on the TRB Study Committee: The Role of Public Transportation and Mobility Management in an Era of New and Expanding Mobility Choices.She has taken a leadership role in coordinating the various components of integrated mobility which include transportation network companies such as Uber and Lyft and start up transport companies with broader technology applications. The goal of this work is to determine how these integrated mobility components connect with the public transportation networks to provide seamless service to customers and communities.
