I am a substitute paraprofessional for the department of education, where I have years of experience in teaching and assisting in all subjects areas to students in all grade levels across the NYC area. I also spend my summers dedicated to increase workforce development services for the youth.In my previous position as a program director, I was responsible for assisting with recruitment of worksite sponsors for the SYEP Program, facilitating weekly meetings and trainings to stay in compliance with program standards, and closely worked with worksites while keeping an open line communication. My communication strengths, as well as my ability to connect with the youth has helped me establish trusting relationships which position me to thrive in this challenging role.Over the years, I have been able to successfully provide positive youth development in inner-city neighborhoods.
