During my time at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office I worked in two bureau's the: Criminal Prosecution Bureau, Felony Trial Division from June 2013 to May 2014 and the Special Prosecution Bureau, Gang Unit, from August 2014 to May 2015. There I iitigated alongside Assistant State’s Attorneys during motions, felony bench trials, and plea agreements. I opened files for oncoming arraignments and efficiently and accurately prepare court calls. In addition, I assisted in trial preparation by: requesting and preparing discovery, scanning and preparing files to be placed on Sanction, investigation of cases by listening and logging jail calls, and preparing files for litigation under the Illinois Street Gang RICO law.

-During my time at the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office I prepared and litigated preliminary hearings including interviewing witnesses and victims. In addition, I also prepared and argued opposition motions regarding dismissal of the information and speedy trial violations.

At my time working for The Law Office of Anthony Santarelli I compiled evidence to be presented to the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the DHS. I also prepared immigration petitions to be submitted to the United States Citizen and Immigration Services. I served as an interpreter in asylum interviews at the United States Citizen and Immigration Services. In addition, I conducted client in-take and translated documents from Spanish to English.
