The principal challenge of this position is to provide financial accounting & business analysis leadership as well as leadership and direction for the Purchasing, IT and Import / Export functions. Responsible for MTY plant operation with 4 different business segments, managing a finance team. Achievements: Monterrey plant start up, implementation and improvement of next areas:-Control and valuation of inventory through ERP system (SAP) (standard cost), Cost roll up, Physical inventories, analysis of purchase price variance, production variance, and scrap.-Financial analysis related to cost of sales, sales, gross margin and expenses. -Closing process, translation of Financial Statements under Mexican and American accounting standards (US GAAP and MX GAAP) presentation for regional directors and managers.- Implementation of internal control. - Budget and monthly Forecast process. - Responsible for general accounting, it includes accounts payable control, national and foreign vendors, corporate card, Sarbanes Oxley implementation- Review, analysis and reconciliation of general ledger for Mexico and USA.- Fixed assets Administration- Experience in payroll and taxes (Safe Harbor, SUA, IETU, ISR, import - export etc)- Experience in corporate audits- Project manager skilled in result-based planning, organization and creative and innovative solving problems.

Financial analysis related to cost of sales, sales, gross margin and expenses. Process and translation of Financial Statements. Implementation of internal control and support to made budget. Company certified in ISO 9000.

Cycle counts, review of new products quotations and re-quotations. Analysis and support to budgetary control, responsible of annual physical inventory and standard changes.Gross margin analysis, standard variations, and Financial Statement analysis on a monthly basis.

Review and payment of bills from national and foreign vendors, through checking account and electronic transfers, review and analysis of general ledger in a weekly and monthly basis, management of travel expenses and corporate card, and support to make cash flow statement. Implementation of internal controls (ISO9000 procedures).
