Associate General Counsel-Employment
CurrentAdvises Human Resources, the General Counsel, and other business units re: all employment matters, including administration and development of policies, compliance with federal and state laws, and disposition of employee disciplinary matters.Handles, internal investigations, administrative hearings and litigation, either alone or with the assistance of outside counsel; manages all outside counsel on such matters.Provides legal advice and administration of other corporate transactional matters, including contracts, corporate filings and regulatory compliance, and provides legal support to various organizational initiatives including overseas pension program development..Develops and monitors the Legal Department budget in conjunction with the General Counsel.Develops and presents various organization training courses, including Code of Conduct and Sexual Harassment Awareness training.Acts a Chief Privacy Officer.Manages and supervises legal/support personnel.
