  I started at this company as an Office Manager and were promoted to General Manager. When I was appointed as Office Manager my duties included reception, sales, logistics, dispatch & receiving, invoicing, liaising with clients and suppliers, procurement, stock control and generally assisting the CEO, general manager and production manager. As General Manager I took over the HR department, from recruiting, interviews, appointments, contract, registration with all applicable unions and councils. On boarding, disciplinary actions, etc. My duties included both the weekly wages as well as monthly salaries for all staff. I also managed all the admin personel, from reception, debtors and creditors. Overseeing their work, training and performances. I was responsible for the weekly and monthly financial analysis and reporting to the CEO as well as paying all accounts, wages and salaries on time. I also represented the company at the AGM of the Leather & General Goods Association in Johannesburg and was voted into the Exco to represent all manufacturers of the Western Cape on the Leather and General Goods manufacturing industry.
