Marketing Worker Protection Standard/Pesticide Program to Agricultural Producers.

Manage statewide WIA (167) adult employment and training program. Coordinate local and field office operations with staff such as counseling, testing, training plans and placements.Monitor and manage program budget, approve local training contracts, review operating reports.Plan and conduct periodic training for staff using teleconferences, webex and other industry related professionals.Conduct recruitment, interviews, assessments and selection for new program staff. Complete in-house orientation and coordinate training plans.Negotiate agreements with other state agencies to provide assistance in cooperative projects.Coordinate marketing materials and evaluate effectiveness of outreach for employment and training programs.Participate in regional, national and local conferences with government officials, employers and One Stops to secure assistance in formulating policies for new and ongoing programs.

Coordinate assessments and referrals to other WIA partner entities.Conduct local Workforce Readiness class for Hispanic clients.
