The Project Management business was started in 2005 for the landscape and agricultural industry. Our key services are planning, designing and executing of the projects.

I am a passionate Horticulturist with a BSc Agric degree in Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Horticulture and I love the science behind growing healthy plants and to study the ever changing food supply chain from source to final consumer. My Horticultural path started in the landscape industry and owner of a Landscape and Grounds Development business before I became the General Manager for Lamara (a Belgium owned company) which grow olives, citrus and essential oils in Franschhoek, in 2015. I am also the olive oil maker of our world class awardwinning olive oils and is a member of South Africa citrus fruit association, the South African essential oils association and South Africa Olives association.

My olive oil tasting career started in 2016 during informal tasting meetings. In 2018 and 2019 I participated in the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Savantes and passed the minimum criteria to become an Associate of the Register of Extra Virgin Olive Oil Savantes. In 2019 I was part of a team who represented South African as one of two teams to compete in the Extra Virgin Olive Oil World teams tasting Savantes Championship in Spain in 2019. There I achieved Gold status as a Savantes Associate to pass the standard three times in a row.I became a regular olive oil panel taster for SA Olive in 2018 and passed the ONAOO tasting test in 2020. 2020 was the first time that I judged EVOO for the SA OLIVE Awards 2020. It was a privilege to judge the SA OLIVE Awards 2021 again.

I was part of the property developer team and my responsibility was to design and create the landscape areas, public open spaces, pond areas, road verges of the houses. I had the oppurtunity to start my own landscape business and finished the project under my business name.

My responsibility was to oversee the horticultural operations of the grounds keeping and maintenance teams. Our day to day job was the implementation of good plant knowledge, good planting skills, maintenance of the outdoor areas, floral infrastructures, swimming pools, ponds, ride-on grass cutting machinery, the management of open spaces and hedge cutting.

I was involved in the selection and data capturing of new varieties of roses, chrysanthemums, alstroemerias and gerberas

I had a wonderful oppurtunity to work on a cut rose farm under plastic tunnels in Franschhoek where fresh roses was hand picked and bunched on a daily basis. My responsibility started from soil science and fertilizer management, pest and disease management, manipulatiing the flusch cycles, management of staff, cooling of the roses and selling of it.
