I am an experienced mental health professional with 10+ years of experience in the field. I have strong leadership and management skills, effective problem solving skills and an extensive crisis intervention history. I currently manage an Adult PNMI Transitional Facility with clients that come from homelessness and/or psychiatric hospitalizations. I am well versed in the array of different mental health diagnoses, including co-occuring diagnoses. My work experience includes mental health care, residential support staff and management, substance abuse, crisis intervention, medication administration, and fostering healthy client relationships. I am currently enrolled at Southern Maine Community College working towards a degree in Liberal Arts; Psychology Concentration. I do have two young children which has slowed down the process a bit but hey, I’ll get there! I thrive in this field as I have an empathetic heart and I truly love serving the less fortunate population. I believe that everyone is deserving of a healthy and fulfilling life and can have that with the right supports.
