I am trained in both quantitative and qualitative research methods and enjoy synthesizing data to tell a story that is available to wide audiences in academia, industry, and beyond. I am experienced in the full research cycle from research planning and design, data collection and analysis, to report writing and public presentations to large audiences. As a public scholar, I ensure that the research I conduct is accessible and translated for the communities with whom I work. My research has been featured in over 100s of media outlets including Bloomberg, MarketWatch, Forbes, NBC News, Silicon Valley Business Journal, CNN en Español, Radio Bilinugüe, Telemundo, and Univision, among others.I am the lead editor and co-author of an academic volume on Latino entrepreneurship and have written academic publications in peer-reviewed journals in addition to several industry reports and research briefs. With over 250 hours of in-depth interview experience, I have also trained students and organizations on qualitative methods. I work with big data and have expertise in survey design and statistical methods. Beyond having a methodologically rigorous research skill set, I am a subject-matter expert in topics related to underrepresented entrepreneurs, diverse asset management, the creator economy, economic sociology, and the small business ecosystem, often invited to speak about these topics on panels and public forums. I am the CEO and founder of Stratified Insights, a research consulting firm that provides academic grade research services to organizations. Previously, I managed global policy research at Meta and led the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative. I am guided by my passion for educational and economic opportunity and exploring pathways of mobility.
