Working under the CFO to manage 11 elementary schools with multiple Principals, Deans of Operations, teachers, and hourly employees.Responsibilities include:• Maintaining general ledgers and monthly financial statements for the board of trustees• Conducting and supervising month-end close, A/R transactions for monthly statements, and year-end audits• Preparing journal entries for all entities and creating monthly reconciliation spreadsheets• Calculating and preparing retirement plans, benefits, and all employee salary contracts• Aiding staff and faculty with enrollment and changes to their 403b and insurance benefits

· Responsible for over 170 employees’ payroll on a semi-monthly pay cycle utilizing ADP workforce now.· Record daily activity in Microsoft Dynamics GP and prepare/close monthly financials for four separate entities.· Update A/R transactions for monthly statements.· Prepare journal entries for all entities and creating monthly reconciliation spreadsheets.· Prepare Monthly Bank Reconciliation for five accounts.· Responsible for the calculations of Retirement Plans and Benefits. Assist staff and faculty with enrollment and changes to their 403b and insurance benefits.· Prepare Workman’s Report (SAIF), Loan Inquiries and Unemployment Reports.· Reconcile Razors Edge Reports with our Development Department.· Calculate and prepare all Faculty and Administration Salary Contracts.· Prepare for Year-End Audit

*Prepare tax returns for Corporations, partnerships and individuals. *Research tax laws to determine compliance.*Utilizing various tax software including XCM, ProSystem fx, Document, and CaseWare.*Work closely with managers and partners on client tax issues

Prepare 1120's, 1041's and 1040's using Gosystems Tax software (prepare and review paperless) Finalize Financial Statements in preparation of tax returns in ProFx Engagement. Analyze and correct FS Depreciation calculations.
