Data Reporting Supervisor
CurrentOversee and directs day-to-day activities and processes for assigned reporting functions• Develop company guidelines for proper handling and reporting of data to various agencies• Analyze reports or transactions for accuracy and/or eligibility for payment• Assist in the implementation of new reporting guidelines or compliance requirements• Provide business users with knowledgeable, accurate, and timely information upon inquiryPrepare, review, and analyze data required by reporting bureaus and other regulatory agencies• Oversee compilation of data for the preparation of regularly scheduled and special data calls • Customize database queries to provide accurate information to business users and agencies• Manage bureau and state inquiries and requirements and mitigate any changes or requests for additional information• Continually assess the operational and functional business needs and implements changes accordinglyInteract directly with Line of Business leaders• Serve as point of contact and liaison for multiple various initiatives as they impact reporting• Collaborate with Premium Audit, Work Comp Claims, IT, and Underwriting to ensure timely and accurate submission of Unit Statistical data• Communicate effectively with multiple departments in the collection and reporting of required information for data calls• Ensure that systems and procedures follow company policies, acceptable reporting practices, and applicable regulations• Provide data reporting assistance and requested information to Line of Business leaders.Assess and approve the output within the Data Reporting team• Create and implement new processes as business needs arise• Supervise and review data call payment requests for accuracy and reconciliation with business systems• Advise management on decisions for resolving department issues• Prepare applicable reports and interpret reporting results• Lead company projects using effective project management techniques
