  I commenced employment with Futuris Automotive Interiors (Aust) in 2002. Futuris is a widely recognised world class automotive seating/interiors manufacturer with 20 global operations and 6000 employees. My initial placement was within the accounts payable team being promoted to Accounts Payable Manager in 2010. My current duties include -• Management of the AP team whist leading and engaging in the implementation of continuous improvement activities.• Responsible for cash flow of up to $20M per month. Payments are remitted to both local and international suppliers across multiple foreign currencies.• Maintaining a high level of customer service whilst ensuring that the delivery of accounts payable objectives are in accordance with Futuris policies. • Maximising cash flow whilst minimising invoice to accrual variance with payments being remitted to vendors in accordance with agreed terms. • Providing regular reporting and analysis to key stakeholders with recommendations to improve performance. • Generation of long range plans and forecast data for AP balances and payment information as required.
