Working with non-profit organizations, assisting with hands-on program development and implementation. Preparing grants, developing surveys, collecting data, and reporting to various government agencies to assist these non-profits in their efforts to garner funds. This work has given me a whole new perspective on and admiration for individuals who work in the non-profit field. Through their efforts we truly have made a difference every day and offer that hands-on love and support that is so needed in this region. I will continue to be their cheerleader and will be utilizing my knowledge for many of the programs that they offer. I will be independently consulting in the future to provide the assistance that was once offered through my previous Community Health position.

Greater Johnstown Middle And High School

Substituting as a school nurse helps me to stay connected to the teen population's needs and issues. Provide care for school students including education, support and assistance with school projects and senior projects that encourage them to improve the communities they live in.

Cardiac Care Nurse caring for patients having heart attack or needing cardiac catheterization or open heart surgery. Assisted with cardiac rehabilitation education and services.

Provided patient care for liver transplant patients.
