Drawing on personal exposure to a variety of work climates, I acclimate well to new challenges and the unexpected. For the past twenty years I have immersed myself in philanthropic interest ranging from environmental organizations to Hospice Volunteer. I have an avid interest in the outdoors, specializing in Mycology with a vested interest in Mycophagy and the Slow Foods Movement. I have my own catering company: Wild Foods Catering and conduct "mushroom walks" for various non-profits, home schooled, nature centers, and Land Trusts. In the way past, I also video taped and photographed many weddings and special events as well as worked at several Hartford area clubs as a professional Bartender. I have also worked with developmentally challenged adults as a coach for the Special Olympics and Equestrian Handling. Currently, I concentrate much of my energy in caring for the dying and their loved ones, finding this to be a truly enriching commitment. I would love to find work that integrates these skills and talents.
