Served as an Intercessory Prayer Captain at the Dallas Campus under the leadership of Pastor Del Bosque. The purpose of the prayer group was as follows:-To provide a prayer covering for the church-To pray for all incoming individual prayer request-To pray for the request concerning the world, government, nations abroad, etc.-To provide a prayer cover for the Ministerial Dept. as well as the North campus of The Potters House (2012-2013)-To provide a prayer cover for The Potter's House Dallas, under the leadership of Elder Emma Davis

Wartime Ministries is the ministry that was started in June of 1996 under the inspiration of the Lord. By the time Wartime Ministries was started, Minister Thornton, its founder, had been in ministry for almost five years. It was at Monument of Faith Breakthrough Ministries that she received her licence to minister the Gospel in 1991. She later became an ordained (elder) minister at The Potters House of Dallas in 2001, where she still attends. Wartime Ministries was founded on the Word of God. The purpose of Wartime Ministries is the preach and teach the Word of God to the masses so that souls will be saved and delivered. The following methods have been used to achieve this purpose. -Preaching and teaching the Gospel in conferences, churches and other venues -Feeding the Hungry-Nursing Home Ministry-Christian Education-Dramatic Arts as a Ministry Tool

SInce the inception of The Potters Institue at The Potters House of Dallas, under the direction of Elder David Yeazell, I have served as one of the instructors, teaching the following classes:-Gifts of the SpiritThe understanding and correct application of how the Gifts of the Spirit are to operate in the church. An in depth look at the five fold ministry gifts and how each gift operates in the church-Fruit of the SpiritThe nine Fruit of the Spirit are examined and explained in this class.-Prayer and FastingThe two foundations of the church are the focal point of this class. How to pray and how to fast are taught here. -Small Group DynamicsHow to facilitate small group discussions are taught here and the dynamics by which they operate.

As one of the founding members of the church, I served as the Sunday School teacher for all the children, whose ages ranged from about five to high school. Also, I was given the opportunity to use my gift to preach and teach the adults as well. My teaching curriculum during my tenure was as follows:-Teaching Bible Study-Teaching children Bible principles using the Bible as the main textbook-Training children to apply the Bible to every aspect of their lives-Mentoring children to teach the next generation to grow in their understanding of the Word of God
