Pass meds & administer 1st aid to a cabin full (25-30) of special needs campers. Assist with other activities, as needed.I get a tackle box to carry the meds, a walkie-talkie to find where in the beautiful, spacious campus my campers are currently enjoying themselves when it's time for their meds, and a golf cart to reach them in a timely manner. As well as pills, there are occasional tube feeds, catherizations, colostomies, suctioning, dressing changes, trachs, finger sticks, and other assorted nursing duties. Everyone has a great time at this camp, including me! Every summer I look forward to my working vacation!
