Human Resources Generalist
Current•Responsible for following the requirements of applicable national and international regulations.•Partner with the client group to enhance business results by enabling a positive culture and an increased level of associate engagement.• Work with management teams to address and investigate associate relations and morale issues. Develop action plans to facilitate an open and positive work culture. Offer possible resolution and provide work-related advice, guidance and direction to resolve associate issues. Work with managers to bring policy and performance issues to resolution. Administer and update as appropriate, policies that affect Associates.•Provide advice and guidance to managers regarding HR activities, such as, staffing, performance management, compensation planning and issues, HR systems, basic organizational development, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. •Ensure compliance and consistent application of HR policies and practices. Assist management in identifying HR issues and/or concerns.• Perform research and analysis on HR projects and prepares reports for management.•Assist in the recruitment, interviewing and hiring process.•Ensure proper onboarding, orientation, and initial training. Provide leadership on the performance review and compensation processes. Conduct mid-year and year-end performance calibration sessions. Design and deploy enhancements to the performance management process.•Ensure organization charts and job descriptions are accurate and future positions are budgeted and funded.•Support Associates with benefits enrollment and with personal vendor service issues.•Inform and advise Associates in the business area on human resources matters, such as performance issues, compensation questions and training opportunities.•Advise and consult on termination issues. Conduct exit interviews.•Conduct training and assist in the development and modification of training programs.
