Hello, I'm Marlene and I have worked in the casino industry since 2014. At the casino I encourage collaborative team culture that has a desire to learn. I train new hires before they engage with patrons to ease their stress and increase work productivity. I learn patrons names and listen to their stories which ends up creating a more friendly environment for them and a enjoyable work environment for me. If members on my team are confused about new guidelines due to language barriers or just needs information, I help explain in further details so they understand.I'm pursing a career that focus primarily on data mining and technology. My main tasks currently are catching mistakes and asset protection. While I do work full-time and go to school full-time, I enjoy the flexibility my company has given me. I am earning a degree in Computer Information System and am on track to graduate in the Spring 2024. The skills I have enjoyed learning so far are coding languages like Python and Java. My main focus is Business Intelligence and anything to do with data. So the skills I learned from my current work transfer over to coding language because I am still catching mistakes.
