My job was to prepare samples and collect data in a study on acceptance of a yoghurt drink with buckthorn in children from 10-12 years.

Worked for Associate Professors Helene Hausner and Annemarie Olsen at the European project focused on the determining factors and critical periods in food habit formation and breaking in early childhood. My job was to recruit kindergartens in Copenhagen to participate in a study on food intake of unknown ingredients in children from 3-5 years. I also recruited the helpers to perform the research, prepared the samples and helped collecting the data.

The conscription in the Danish Navy was 3 months basic training during which I was trained in first aid, learned to extinguish fires on board ships, obtained basic shooting skills, learned to sail a speedboat and obtained basic knowledge of being a soldier. Afterwards, I was part of the crew at the communications department of one of the Danish Navy’s patrol vessel for 6 weeks. The ship was controlling the area around the Faroe Islands.
