Provides professional counseling to consumers including, but not limited to personal financial counselling, debt management, housing counseling, credit report review. Provides accurate, relevant and helpful information to assist consumers and potential clients in developing solutions in money management, housing and credit related issues via telephone, internet or in person consultation.

* Handling all Credit Provider Related queries* Sending statements, Form 17.1, Form 17.2, Form 17.3, Form 17.4, Form 17.W and proposals to the Creditors* Refund arrangements for clients* Contact Creditors for settlements and outstanding balances* Uploading Notice of Motion and Court Orders* Negotiating with repossessors to stop legal action and include into Debt Review* Issuing Form 19 (Clearance Certificates) for clients who has settled all debts* Resolution of queries to facilitate payments from consumers* Prioritise and manage a challenging workload whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction about their debt situation; * Assist consumers with income and expenditure (Realistic Budget advise)* Offering emotional support to clients and helping to determine priority payments* Preparing Monthly payment plans for clients to follow* Advising about bankruptcy and court proceedings * Negotiating with creditors to arrange affordable, realistic repayments for the client advising about any welfare benefits clients may be eligible for representing clients in court.* Attending to the clients legal application for debt review to the Magistrates Courts as well as the National Consumer Tribunal and being the liaison between the parties* Assist in ad-hoc duties as required
