Marlène Velasco-Bégué I am an independent media producer with over twenty years of international media and teaching experience. I have worked across a number of communication interrelated fields - Public Media, production consultant, media production training, production of artistic and media events; working within non-for-profit, public and social organizations, as well as working directly with independent media filmmakers and artists.I bring to each project a well-rounded international experience in the administrative, management, fundraising, communication, curating and creative areas. I have managed projects as a grant maker, as well as from the other side of the funding equation, as a fundraiser. Building on my experience, I am committed to continue working to strengthen the public and non-for profit institutions and organizations in the media and arts sector. And to enable audiovisual makers, filmmakers and artist to create, produce their projects and give support to allow their work to reach audiences worldwide.
