Hi, I'm Marlene. You may know me as part of the team Journelles where I had one of my first job as an editor. Funnily I never thought I'd be writing for a living. In school my German teacher specifically told me: "You're not good enough." Thankfully I found other creative ways to express myself and decided to study fashion business in Paris, Berlin and New York. So how did I end up writing anyways? The one thing my life always came back to was my interest for good stories. I wrote to identify, trust or eleminate choices. My home? The internet.It's what led me to the social media agency StoryMachine. As managing editor I strategically created and implemented long-term employer branding campaigns for DAX 40 companies, positioned top manager on social media, built communities around consumer goods and addressed B2B stakeholders with my team. Working closely with data analysts and visual designers to ensure an overall performance at all times. Setting up organizational structures to work creatively and aligned with everyone involved was always my priority. And added to a highly efficient environment in times of crisis communication.I believe that our communication is as good as our comprehension. I had the pleasure to train corporate influencers and communication departments in various workshops and share my knowledge. By listening and getting to know their needs and pain points we were able to find individual solutions navigating the digital communication landscape. My personal mantra "do you" led me to my self-employment in 2020. I connected the dots between inner and outer communication by offering holistic communication guidance for individuals and wellness companies. In my opinion a good story lives from substance, passion and values. They're here to be told by humans for humans enabling a bigger self-realization process for everyone.Both my personal and professional path led me to deepen my knowledge of well-being and holistic health through my holistic health coach training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York and my last position as Head of Social Media at the Los Angeles based wellness company neoNutritions. I am currently, together with my sister, navigating the transition of our family business to the next generation.
