CurrentDesign of Transmit/Receive and Receive only satellite earth stations to industry best practices. Perform and analyse Satellite Link Budgets. Satellite Capacity Planning. Perform site surveys and preparation of Engineering Specifications for installations. Generate Technical specification documents for procurement of Satellite Infrastructure. Compile Specification for Bill of Quantities. Provide technical support to Business development and Operations. Represent the company at customer pre-planning sessions. Ensure regular interaction with the customers (internal/external) during project design and implementation by providing technical support. Perform periodic market surveys to identify emerging satellite technologies. Analyze and provide information on space segment lease cost, bandwidth requirements, and frequency management. Attend technical committees meetings as Sponsor representative and interface with vendors. Provide recommendations for improving satellite network performance. Develop strategies to effectively leverage and integrate new technologies in customer’s existing network infrastructure. Monitor industry trends and technology developments in the Broadcasting and Telecommunication industry.
