Conducted research to create new resources, furthering our goal of spreading knowledge about the therapeutic effects of cannabis. Attended networking events to foster connections with other women-run cannabis businesses. Created extensive database of US-based, cannabis-related businesses founded by women.

Conducted outreach to local businesses to find new host for Allston fridge, securing a long-term home at a local church. Performed routine checks to monitor the quality of food in the fridge and accompanying pantry ensure safe temperatures. Created digital and print media to raise awareness about the fridges and related events. Cooked healthy meals in bulk to fill the fridges.

Assisted in formulating and developing a range of research projects, focusing on biology education and moral reasoning in adults and children. Transcribed, qualitatively coded, and analyzed hundreds of participant responses to enhance understandings of children and adults’ beliefs about the natural world. Managed administrative needs of the lab including extensive email management, phone monitoring, and participant scheduling. Collaborated with researchers to create interview protocol and interview adults about their knowledge of COVID-19 to contribute to understandings of adults’ conceptions of diseases. Designed hands-on activity on MS Word to aid Boston elementary school educators in teaching natural selection. Recipient of the 2021 Student Research Award for Psychological & Brain Sciences.

Assisted students at every stage of the writing process and in a wide range of disciplines (from creative writing to medical ethics). Awarded a stipend to conduct research (with the Child Cognition Lab) geared toward developing materials to help primary school educators teach evolution by natural selection. Designed a hands-on activity for teachers and students to demonstrate the process of natural selection. Presented my research in a poster presentation during the 2019 UROP Symposium.
