As a Flight Instructor, I teach aspiring pilots the skills and knowledge they need to obtain their Commercial Pilot License (CPL). I hold both my Diploma of Aviation Commercial Pilot, Diploma of Aviation Flight instructor and I am currently undertaking Diploma of Aviation Instrument Rating.Before becoming a Flight Instructor, I worked for over ten years in the tunnelling and civil construction industry, where I gained valuable experience in workplace safety, contract management, drainage, and excavation. I was a TBM Tunneller and a Health and Safety Officer for the Sydney Metro TSE Works, a major infrastructure project that involved building twin tunnels and six new metro stations. I was responsible for operating and maintaining the tunnel boring machine, as well as ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.I am passionate about aviation and engineering, and I enjoy combining my expertise in both fields to provide high-quality training and mentoring to the next generation of pilots. I am also committed to continuous learning and improvement, and I seek to expand my skills and qualifications in the aviation industry. My goal is to become a Flight Examiner and a Flight Instructor Grade 1 and explore roles in charter and airlines.
