I also produced annual Consumer Confidence Reports for distribution to all residents and building occupants served by the treatment plants. Provided all compliance reporting to the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) and applied for special Water Appropriations Permits from Chesapeake tributaries to support special testing activities at the proving ground to support deployment in Army field locations.For the Federally-Owned Treatment Works (FOTW) on the APG complex, I provided support to the 24-hour operators and reviewed all real-time data to ensure compliance with the Clean Water Act for discharge to the Chesapeake Bay. In partnership with the Directorate of Installation Operations (DIO/DPW) I provided engineering support to propose and specify improvements to the treatment Plant for optimized capacity and throughput in an effort to prevent bypasses and overflows caused by legacy combined sewer system connections and infiltration.
